About
Madison has been a Wardrobe Supervisor for the last decade, and her experience has been nothing short of dynamic. Coming from a family deeply immersed in the entertainment industry, she values the essence of collaboration and compassion in the arts. Madison began her professional career at Berkshire Theatre Group in Stockbridge, MA while in attending New Mexico State University. After graduating, she spent a summer at Heritage Theatre Festival in Charlottesville, VA before becoming the resident Wardrobe Supervisor for Gulfshore Playhouse in Naples, FL. Two years later (and a quick summer at Santa Fe Opera in New Mexico), she accepted the job of Wardrobe Supervisor at the Tony Award winning theater, TheatreWorks Silicon Valley. During the pandemic, while TheatreWorks was on hiatus, Madison worked as the Wardrobe Supervisor at Santa Cruz Shakespeare.
Post-pandemic, she returned to TheatreWorks and in 2022 began her artistic collaboration with Athena Lawton and the House of Athena. With Athena and their team, Madison began her career in international live events. Learn more about House of Athena here.
Madison is proud to be the resident Wardrobe Supervisor for TheatreWorks Silicon Valley and House of Athena. She also teaches a Wardrobe Workshop in collaboration with IATSE Local 784. In her free time, you can find her jumping in between the Bay Area and the Hamptons, where her family resides. Madison is open to both domestic and international opportunities and looks forward to the exciting prospects that lie ahead.
“Madison came into my life at exactly the right moment to completely transform the way I work as a costume designer. She showed me what a true collaboration between a costume designer and wardrobe supervisor could be. The attention to detail that is maintained in the highest stress environments is truly a testament to Madison’s skill. She anticipates and prepares for every situation while still maintaining a safe and fun work environment. The variation in projects that we have done together requires a highly adaptable, creative, and passionate supervisor and Madison is all that and more.”
“I had the privilege of working with Madi as a dresser on her team for the opening ceremony of Riyadh Season. Her constant support and advocacy make the whole atmosphere collaborative, ensuring the show runs smoothly. Her impressive level of preparedness and attention to detail, from costume organization to quick change notes, really helps our workflow and adds a lot to the production. Being part of a team led by such a dedicated and detail-oriented professional has truly been an enriching experience. ”
“My first experience in wardrobe was with Madi and I couldn’t have asked for a better supervisor to work with. She is organized, patient, and is always looking out for her team. I always know I’m in good hands working with her.”
“Madi is one of the most professional people I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Her ability to quickly adapt to challenges with grace and efficiency as well as her genuine care for her colleagues well-being and success makes her an amazing person to work with and be around.”
“Madi Miller is quite possibly the most personable and patient wardrobe supervisor you’ll ever work with. I’ve seen firsthand how her on-the-spot thinking and meticulous eye for detail have tipped the scales from crisis to resolution, all while keeping the environment calm and professional. It’s exceedingly rare to find such a tender heart in an industry that is often so fast-paced and detached, and I’m proud to call her my life-long artistic collaborator and friend.”
“Madi’s strength lies in leadership. She shows appreciation for everyone on the team, and is always willing to work with your strengths and teach you how to overcome your weaknesses. She is an asset to any and every team that she is on.”
